The photos above were taken during the 10cc-class drag races during
the Cascade Model Helicopter Club contest at Marymoor park in Redmond,
Washington, July 1996.

That's Dan "christmas tree" Chen doing the ready-set-go chores. More
recently we've been starting the drag races from the ground, so he
doesn't have to risk life and limb with every race.
